Maria Sinnecker

Maria Sinnecker CVOriginally from Berlin, Germany, Maria’s background is in modern dance, expressive dance, dance theatre and multilingual drama. She danced and performed mainly with Tanzwerkstatt No Limit, Berlin (1988-99) and jlling-company, Tanztheaterprojekt Rostock (2001-05). She came to Cork to specialize in Drama & Theatre Studies at M.A. level at University College Cork (2005-06). Over the last ten years, she has danced and performed mainly with choreographers Peter Mann and  Inma Pavon, making her dance film debut with Inner Landscapes, dir. John O’Brien. Most notably she performed in the multidisciplinary work: IV Wills, dir. Sara Wentworth, and Uben, a poetic documentary film by Ed Cashman. She facilitates Creative Dance, Dance Theatre, Contemporary Dance and Community Dance for children and adults, as well as language through drama and art, and enjoys sharing her lifelong passion.
